Adolph Von Steinwehr who set the Union defenses at Gettysburg, President Chester Arthur, Medal of Honor Awardee Robert Henry King, Senator Ira Harris whose daughter Clara was in the box with Lincoln when he was shot and many others.

Visit the gravesite of the family of authors William and Henry James; visit Minnie Temple, Henrys inspiration for Isabel Archer in Portrait of a Lady. Visit the family of author Herman Melville, the Van Rensselaers, Cornings, Schuylers, Stanfords, survivors of the sinking of the Titanic, and others. Tour about 1 1/2 hrs.

The schedule for the day will include:
All Day: Civil War Military Camps.
Civil War Tours, both walking tours and horse drawn (there will be a charge for the horse drawn tours).
The 77th NY Regimental Balladeers will perform.
The Excelsior Cornet Band - New York States only authentic Civil War brass band will perform with authentic instruments of the 1860 period.
The 2nd Vermont Light Artillery will fire their Civil War cannon.
The 6th NY Cavalry will be on horseback.
Civil War drill, military tactics and weapon firing demonstrations will be given by several participating Civil War Groups including the 5th NYVI (Duryees Zouaves) and the 123rd NYVI (Champlain Rifles).
Reception and Parade to welcome President Abraham Lincoln.
